Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1572

Narrated Thawban:

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever dies and he is free of three: Kibr (Pride), Ghulul, and debt, he will enter paradise."

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رَجَاءٍ، قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ " مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ بَرِيءٌ مِنْ ثَلاَثٍ الْكِبْرِ وَالْغُلُولِ وَالدَّيْنِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ .

Being innocent and guiltless from these three things means that he is very careful about human rights. It is obvious that he who is careful about the rights of his fellow human beings must be more careful about the right of Allah, therefore, such a person hopes in Allah’s Mercy and Paradise.
