Shama'il al-Muhammadiya 109

Amr bin Huraith (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that Sayyidina Messenger of Allah ﷺ was once delivering the sermon, and there was a black turban on his auspicious head.

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرُو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، خَطَبَ النَّاسَ، وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ.
