Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says. "Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept his ring in his mubaarak hands (possession). Then it was kept by Abubakr (may Allah be pleased with him), then by 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Thereafter by 'Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him). In his ('Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him)'s) time it fell in the Well of 'Arees. The inscription on this ring was 'Muhammadur Messenger of Allah"'.
