Sahih Muslim 1988a

Abu Qatada, on the authority of his father, reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said this: Do not prepare Nabidh by mixing nearly ripe dates and fresh dates together, and do not prepare Nabidh by mixing grapes and dates together, but prepare Nabidh from each (one of them) separately.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ،
أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

" لاَ تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّهْوَ وَالرُّطَبَ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّبِيبَ وَالتَّمْرَ جَمِيعًا وَانْتَبِذُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ
مِنْهُمَا عَلَى حِدَتِهِ " .
