Sunan Ibn Majah 4189

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There is no gulp that brings greater reward with Allah than a gulp of anger that a man swallows (suppresses), seeking thereby the Face of Allah.”

حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ﷺ ـ " مَا مِنْ جُرْعَةٍ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ جُرْعَةِ غَيْظٍ كَظَمَهَا عَبْدٌ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ " .
